Main Research directions
1. Developed and enhanced an efficient system for potato wound healing and tissue regeneration, contributing to the advancement of potato cultivation and productivity.
2. Identified and isolated superior stress-resistance genes from potatoes, leveraging cutting-edge gene-editing technologies to innovate and introduce new potato cultivars with exceptional resilience to environmental challenges.
Overview of Teaching and Research
With a longstanding commitment to the fields of basic biology and molecular genetics, I have spearheaded three pivotal research initiatives under the auspices of Shanxi Province's key R&D program and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences' breeding projects. My research endeavors have also encompassed participation in more than five additional projects, highlighting the province's commitment to scientific advancement. My academic contributions extend to the publication of over ten research papers in reputable international and national journals, with the distinction of having four papers recognized and indexed by the Science Citation Index (SCI). Complementing this scholarly output, I have been granted five national patents, underscoring a dedication to innovation and applied research.
